Era
The boom years after the war brought a wave of home-shop machines. Rockwell bought Delta in 1945 and moved its plants from Milwaukee to Ohio and Mississippi in 1952. Delta's Homecraft line arrived in 1946, Kearney and Trecker owned Walker-Turner from 1948 until Rockwell bought it in 1956, and Powermatic launched its Model 66 saw in 1965. Sears' shop machines passed from King-Seeley to Emerson Electric in the 1960s. Plate addresses help date machines from here on, Milwaukee for Delta through 1952 and Pittsburgh after.
