A 3 HP saw with a Biesemeyer on long rails and an extension table for $799. The phase isn't given, so it all hangs on the motor plate.
Delta Unisaw 10” Cabinet Table Saw – 3HP Motor + Biesemeyer Fence
Delta · Table saw · 1950s to the early 1980s (Unisaw since 1939)
Ask old-iron woodworkers which cabinet saw the others get measured against, and most will say the Unisaw. Delta brought it out in late 1938, and from the 1950s into the 1980s it sold under the Rockwell name as the 34-450 bare saw, the 34-451 with wings and guard, and a run of package numbers. Delta's own 34-670 is a 1986 motorized saw, not a Unisaw. After 1952 Unisaws were built in Tupelo, Mississippi, with the motor inside the cabinet turning the arbor on three V-belts. Small details date one. The Jet-Lock fence arrived in 1960 and T-slots in the miter slots in 1961, and the motor cover stayed cast iron until 1967 and the base until 1977. Find a single-phase Unisaw with its fence, guard and wings and you may never shop for a table saw again.

Should come with it
Hard to find if missing
Check the listing photos against these lists, and ask the seller about anything you can’t see. A missing fence, guard or motor should come off the price.
Worn belts, packed sawdust in the trunnions and tired arbor bearings are the usual jobs, and all are fixable. Missing guards and fences and three-phase motors matter more to the price.
New to old iron? How to check a used woodworking machine covers runout, the table, bearings and the parts that go missing, and shipping a heavy machine covers freight, pickup and rigging it into the shop.
Buying guide
With any Unisaw, ask about phase first, since three-phase needs a VFD, a rotary converter or a new motor, and the dealer saws here are three-phase. That makes the $1,100 Rockwell-Delta titled single phase our pick. The $799 3 HP saw with a Biesemeyer is cheaper if its plate reads single-phase. Plenty are for sale, mostly pickup asks of $850-1,300. Check for fence, wings and guard, and plan the move, since a 1961 single-phase package shipped at 422 lb.
